Summer Legal Intern
Community Action Program Legal Services, Inc. (CAPLAW) is a national nonprofit organization that offers legal assistance to CAAs, a network of grassroots organizations that fight to eliminate poverty in their local communities. CAPLAW seeks a law student interested in a public interest summer internship. The internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about various areas of law while developing strong legal research and writing skills and being part of a mission-driven team focused on anti-poverty work. The internship is unpaid, and acceptance of an intern candidate is contingent upon the intern receiving external funding, which may include stipends through their law school’s public interest fellowships, other national fellowships, or pay through work study.
