Legal Implications of the New Administration’s First Moves – Part One

2025

The executive actions taken during the first weeks of the new Trump administration have garnered a great deal of attention and raised numerous questions for community action agencies (CAAs). Through a series of executive orders (EOs) and memos, the administration issued broad directives potentially impacting grantees around the use, review, and availability of federal funding, and generating much uncertainty about what’s to come.

In this webinar, CAPLAW provided attendees with an overview of the EOs and memos and the legal issues they raise, including those related to a federal funding pause. The webinar also discussed litigation filed in response to the executive actions and its potential impacts.
