The democratically selected low-income representative sector of the tripartite board is one of the hallmarks of Community Action, but recruiting and electing new board members in this sector during a crisis can present serious challenges. CAAs revealed that adaptations resulted in a more effective, streamlined process that enabled additional community members to participate. This webinar features conversations with staff members from two agencies. We discuss the agencies’ existing democratic selection procedures, and how their processes adapted in response to the crisis.
